SAVE THE DATE

The Friends are finalizing plans for a bus trip to The Museum of the American Revolution  in Philadelphia.  The museum  has a self guided audio tour , with many employees throughout , dressed in period costumes, ready to expand your knowledge of the era and to answer your questions.

Your wristband allows you to go in and out as you please. A short walk takes you to the Liberty Bell and other historic sites.

Included in the cost is a catered luncheon at the famous City Tavern where many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence  met and ate.  The menu is Colonial American and the servers are dressed in period costumes to further the experience .  Go to our website tewksburylibraryfriends.org  for more information and to choose the main course of your luncheon.

AND….

Shortly before our trip, we are making plans to have a speaker at the library to tell us  what we might expect at the museum.  See the Tewksbury Times or our website for further information.

WELCOME

The Friends are pleased to welcome Samantha Rice and Albie Ashbrook , our new librarians. We are excited to be working with them on planning new programs.

THANKS

We would like to thank everyone for all your support  of our trips and programs and for your donations.  We are looking forward to another year of fun ways to better our library.

Come in and join us on the first Wednesday of every month at 9:15 at the library.
