JULY 2017 NEWSLETTER

A SEND OFF FOR A WINNER

At our June meeting the Friends welcomed Villa Walsh Academy graduate Emma O’Connor and her family.  Emma is the winner of the Friends’ 2017  Career Award of $1000. She told us of her hope to be an active participant in the international socio-political world.  Emma will continue her studies at George Washington University in Washington D.C.  We know she will make us all proud.

A SHADY REST

The beautification of the library continues and the Friends have been asked by the Trustees to provide funds for an umbrella for our patio.  Come and enjoy a good book  from the Friends recommended reading list on our website  tewksburylibraryfriends.org  and the welcomed shade.

THANK YOU

Your continued support has helped us to contribute to the siding, windows, outdoor furniture, walkway, trees and landscaping projects initiated by the Trustees.
