Who We Are

The Friends of the Tewksbury Township Public Library is a nonprofit volunteer organization whose function is to support, enhance and promote the work of the library.

Our association is exclusively charitable, literary, and educational.

The goals of the Friends are threefold:

  • To increase, improve, and make better known the resources of the Tewksbury Township Public Library.
  • To sponsor events for the benefit of the Library.
  • To encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to be used for the benefit of the Library.

In 2008, The Friends Presented $33,000 to the Library Trustees
For the Second Floor Renovation of the Library.

In 2010, The Friends Gave $30,000 to the Library Trustees
For the Installation of a Service Lift.

On August 6th, 2014, the Friends presented Trustee Pat O’Brien, right, with a $12,000.00 check to kick off the campaign to replace the siding on the Library. Friends looking on, from left to right, were Suzanne LaRusso, Chris Owren-Heurich, Barbara Noe, Sonja Fesenmaier, Nancy Shapack, Karen Ross, & Gloria Amari.
